A Clinton and an Obama are going head-to-head once again. Only this time it’s not Barack and Hillary…but their spouses.
First Lady Michelle Obama and former President Bill Clinton are both nominated for Grammys in the Best Spoken Word Album category.
Obama’s up for her recording of American Grown, a story about healthy eating and growing vegetables in the White House Garden. Clinton was nominated for Back to Work, about how America can grow the economy and strengthen the government.
Both of the contenders’ spouses have already won the prestigious award. Hillary Clinton won in 1997 for the recording of her book It Takes a Village. And President Barack Obama won a Grammy in 2006 for his memoir, Dreams from My Father.
MSNBC’s own Rachel Maddow also received a nomination Thursday morning for her audiobook, Drift: The Unmooring of American Military Power.
