The Senate won’t look the same next year. With Jim Demint’s announcement that he’s retiring, twelve Senators are now leaving the Hill. Many of the departing senators are the moderates of their respective parties. This week, Chuck Todd added Senator Jeff Bingaman (D-NM) to the list of retiring senators he has spoken to one-on-one.
