New Jersey Chris Christie claimed superstar status over his response to the devastating Hurricane Sandy. Christie put aside the presidential campaign to shower the commander-in-chief for his responsiveness to his state’s needs in preparing for the storm. Christie himself came across as blunt, impassioned, and having an all-hands-on-deck attitude of picking up the pieces left from the storm.
