Wall Street, beware.

Not only did Elizabeth Warren, the former head of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, dethrone incumbent Republican Sen. Scott Brown from his seat, but the Wall Street watchdog is also slated to sit on the Senate Banking Committee in the next Congress.

Warren, a former Harvard Law School professor, is the first woman for Massachusetts to send to the U.S. Senate.

“You did this," Warren said in her victory speech. "For every family that has been chipped and squeezed and hammered, we’re going to fight for a level playing field and put people back to work.”
