Less than two weeks after Fox News announced its decision not to renew the contract with Sarah Palin, Fox News is parting ways with Dick Morris. Network spokeswoman Dana Klinghoffer said Tuesday evening that Fox News has decided to end its contract with political contributor and pollster Morris.
Hired for the 2012 presidential campaign, Dick Morris famously predicted that Mitt Romney was going to win a victory by a landslide in November of 2012 and pointed to the demographic changes and Hurricane Sandy as leading factors for Romney’s resounding loss. “I have no apologies for what I said when I said it,” Morris proclaimed.
Since Nov. 12, when Fox News president Roger Ailes decided to keep Morris off the network, he has made no appearances.
A Fox News contributor since 1998, Morris served as an adviser to President Bill Clinton and later became one of his biggest critics. Morris also became a chief critic of Hillary Clinton several years ago.
