Fox anchor speculates about Hillary's face-lift

Hillary Clinton's newly unveiled website has many in the political sphere speculating again about her possible aspirations for a 2016 run, but the folks over at Fox News decided it was a good excuse to speculate about possible plastic surgery.

"Is this the face of presidential ambition?" Steve Doocy asked in a segment on Fox & Friends this morning. "Days after retiring as Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, somebody has launched a new website for her showing off this glamorous new face. Face-lift  perhaps?"

The line quickly drew criticism from many on the left, with cries of sexism. Doocy tried to do damage control after the segment, tweeting "I was saying the Hillary *WEBSITE* had a new pic, a facelift for site."

That's a hard argument to buy. First of all, the website was brand new, created January 31st, last edited on Sunday. How can a website release a few days ago be getting the face-lift?

But the real smoking gun might be the graphic that aired during the segment, which put Clinton's professional photo from the website next to photo snapped during last month's Benghazi hearings. Why compare the photo on the website with one of Clinton "two weeks ago" if you're not looking to find a difference?

Doocy's not the first to suggest that the former Secretary of State had a face-lift  but he probably wouldn't enjoy being associated with the only other outlet making similar claims -- the Weekly World News.

The incident comes on the same day that a new poll finds that 39% of Americans say Fox News is the outlet they trust the least.
