In this edition of Office Politics, host Alex Witt speaks with former New York City Mayor David Dinkins. He's the man responsible for locking up New York City as the home for the annual U.S. Open tennis tournament.

The mayor later told the story of how he became friends with tennis champion Arthur Ashe after they met at a country club in New Jersey. He recalled the day he joined Ashe at the news conference in 1992 when Ashe announced he had AIDS.

Later the mayor told Witt his favorite female tennis player is Serena Williams.
