Music and pictures: Highlights from the Oscars

Last night was an exciting evening for Hollywood as the A-list came out for the 85th Annual Academy Awards. Seth MacFarlane changed things up a bit, building the awards show around the theme of music in film. (A fitting choice for a host with such musical talents as MacFarlane.) There were jokes (some funnier than others, and some more offensive than others) about Chris Brown and Rihanna, Lincoln and John Wilkes Booth; there was Charlize Theron dancing with Channing Tatum (how excited were you to see that?!) and of course, the ever adorable winner Jennifer Lawrence tripping up the stage to receive her Best Actress honors.
