New data released Friday by the Labor Department shows an underlying resilience to the economy. U.S. employers added a 236,000 workers, much more than anticipated, and the unemployment rate dropped to 7.7%, the lowest its been in four years. This comes, of course, after drama with the sequester, the debt ceiling and the threat of government shutdown. One wonders how well the country would do without all of these roadblocks?
