Sarah Palin knows a thing or two about spotting protesters at a convention, and the "itty-bitty purple [Chevy] Volts" parked in the parking lot she says are a dead giveaway.

The former Alaska governor and failed vice presidential candidate egged on potential protesters while speaking at the Faith & Freedom Coalition conference Saturday.

"If there's any protesters here, speak now or forever hold your peace...because facing the protesters, facing the critics, that's something I do well," Palin said, raising her voice to a crescendo of laughs and cheers.

"What gives them away is that re-elect Obama bumper sticker," she said. "That bumper sticker might as well say: 'Yeah, I'm still dense.'"
