Good morning. It promises to be another busy one as we await decisions from the Supreme Court on the Defense of Marriage Act and Proposition 8. Joy Reid will be sitting in for Alex, joining her today will be:

Bob Herbert, Distinguished Senior Fellow, Demos (@bobherbert)

Maggie Haberman, Senior Political Reporter, Politico (@maggiepolitico)

Steve Kornacki, msnbc Host, "Up With Steve Kornacki" (@stevekornacki)

Luke Russert, NBC News Correspondent (@LukeRussert)

SCOTUS is expected to hand down their final, and most anticipated, decisions of the court's term at 10 am EDT. You can follow SCOTUSblog's liveblog here, and of course stay tuned to msnbc for wall to wall coverage.

And here is a little something to help you pass the time as you wait.

Next up, in striking down Section 4 of the Voting Rights Act, the Supreme Court essentially eviscerated what is widely considered to be the most important civil rights legislation in American history.  Texas, Mississippi, North Carolina and Alabama wasted no time announcing they would move forward with Voter ID laws. What happens now? Is there any chance of Congress taking action?

Plus, Massachusetts has a new Senator, and the latest from the George Zimmerman trial. It all goes down at noon EDT.
