House GOP eye Obamacare repeal vote, again

The Obama administration announced a one-year delay in the employer mandate portion of its controversial health care law, which has already fueled GOP ambitions

The Obama administration announced a one-year delay in the employer mandate portion of its controversial health care law, which has already fueled GOP ambitions to vote for a 37th time to repeal Obamacare.

In a statement, House leaders said, "It's time to put people first, repeal this entire law, and start over with patient-centered reforms that protect families, improve our health care system, and restore personal freedom."

Politico reporter Seung Min Kim told msnbc’s Alex Witt that the administration’s announcement “gives ammunition to Republicans on Capitol Hill.”

The delay in the employer mandate will reverberate in the 2014 elections. Juana Summers, also of Politico, said to “Look for Republicans in a lot of competitive districts to bring this up.”
